I am a private practice marriage and family therapist and professional clinical counselor serving clients in Orange County and Long Beach, as well as online as needed.
In therapy, I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment, promoting self-acceptance and instilling hope as clients identify, express, and share their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences. I promote a strong connection between myself and my clients, as a strong therapeutic relationship is a significant part of the healing process. Treatment Approach
I use an integrative approach when it comes to meeting the needs of my clients. The therapeutic approaches that make up the foundation of my practice primarily include cognitive/cognitive-behavioral, compassion focus therapy, experiential, Gottman method, and person-centered therapy.
Additionally, I use a trauma-informed and recovery-centered approach in my work with clients. Trauma-informed care in therapy practice promotes a culture of safety, empowerment, and healing. Recovery-informed care promotes viewing each person as unique, supporting each person’s right to agency, and the importance of treating each person with dignity and respect.
